Sport remains an attractive offering driving premium TV services. However, digital innovation has had a pivotal impact on distribution and the way sports content is created, delivered, consumed and monetised.
The expectations and emotional buy-in of fans has become more complex and demanding. 62.4% of 18-34 year olds are actively accessing social media at live events. 20.6% of this same demographic are simultaneously accessing sports related content whilst watching the event itself.
